It’s 2008. Why does your site say 2007???

Here’s my annual New Years reminder: Change the copyright date in your blog or website footer to 2008.

(It’s amazing how many sites don’t make this change automatic — and how, by the end of January, you still typically see sites that continue to “live in the past.”)

And HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

    As I write this on the morning of January 2, Google is still stuck in 2007. I guess they don’t read my blog. :)

    And more big Internet names haven’t figured this out yet:
    What year is it?

    It took Google until the 3rd of January before the changed it. Apple Microsoft an most of the others mentioned in my blogpost (which you link to, thanks!) aren’t even updated yet.
